Satellite Visits & Data

Our satellite technology provides regular monitoring of your farms. The frequency of satellite visits depends on your location and satellite availability. You'll receive data for dates when satellites pass over your farm.

Important: For all plans, you only receive data for dates when satellite visits occur. If you need data for other dates, use the web app's map controls to request historical data (subject to availability).

Historical Data Requests: Requesting historical data for a specific date range also consumes satellite visits from your plan quota. For example, requesting data from the 1st to the end of a month typically requires 5-6 satellite visits. If you're on the Basic monthly plan (300 visits) and have already used 290 visits, requesting 3 months of historical data would require approximately 15 visits (5 visits per month × 3 months = 15 visits), which would exceed your 300-visit limit—so the request would not be allowed. However, if you request only 1 month of historical data, it would need just 5 visits, keeping you within your plan limits (290 + 5 = 295 visits), and the request would be processed successfully. Always check your remaining visit balance before requesting historical data.

When and how to move to a higher tier

When to Upgrade

You need to add more farms/parcels than your current limit
Your total area exceeds your plan's hectare limit
You've used all your satellite visits for the billing period and need to generate new monitoring data
You need additional features like API access
You want to reduce your per-hectare cost with higher tiers

How to Upgrade

Go to the Pricing page and select your desired plan

Complete the subscription process

Your new limits take effect immediately

Add additional farms and start receiving monitoring data

Note: When upgrading, you'll have access to higher limits immediately. Any farms you couldn't add before will now be available for monitoring.

How satellite data delivery works

Requesting Historical Data

Need data for a specific date when no satellite visit occurred? You can request it manually:

Open the web app and navigate to your farm

Use the map controls option in the sidebar to select your desired date

Click "Request Historical Data" or the equivalent option
