Satellite Visits & Data

Our satellite technology provides regular monitoring of your farms. The frequency of satellite visits depends on your location and satellite availability. You'll receive data for dates when satellites pass over your farm.

Important: For the Starter plan, you only receive data for dates when satellite visits occur. If you need data for other dates, use the web app's map controls to request historical data (subject to availability).

Farm Advisory Services

All plans include expert agricultural advisory covering:

Irrigation Recommendations: Water management advice based on crop needs and soil conditions

Make Your First Call — Use your API key in request headers. The documentation provides examples in multiple programming languages.

Security Note: Keep your API key confidential. Don't share it publicly or commit it to version control. You can regenerate keys at any time.

Cost Savings Example

Monthly Plan: Pay every month at full price
Annual Plan: Pay for 10 months, receive 12 months of service
Example: Basic Annual = $29.99 × 10 = $299.90 (vs $359.88)

Important Annual Plan Notes:

Your monthly limits (farms, area) remain the same each month
To add more farms than your monthly allowance, upgrade your plan
Monitoring data is only available for farms within your plan limits
Plans auto-renew annually; cancel anytime before renewal

Upgrading Your Plan

When and how to move to a higher tier

When to Upgrade

You need to add more farms/parcels than your current limit
Your total area exceeds your plan's hectare limit
You need additional features like API access
You want to reduce your per-hectare cost with higher tiers

How to Upgrade

Go to the Pricing page and select your desired plan

Complete the subscription process

Your new limits take effect immediately

Add additional farms and start receiving monitoring data

Note: When upgrading, you'll have access to higher limits immediately. Any farms you couldn't add before will now be available for monitoring.

Understanding Historical Data

How satellite data delivery works

Standard Data Delivery

Automatic Delivery: You receive data whenever satellites pass over your farms
Dashboard Access: View recent data in your web app dashboard
No Extra Cost: Included in all subscription plans

Requesting Historical Data

Need data for a specific date when no satellite visit occurred? You can request it manually:

Open the web app and navigate to your farm

Use the map controls option in the sidebar to select your desired date

Click "Request Historical Data" or the equivalent option

Data will be fetched if available (subject to satellite archive)

Availability: Historical data requests depend on satellite archive coverage and may not be available for all dates or locations.

Per-Hectare Pricing

Higher tiers = lower cost per hectare

Each plan has a different per-hectare rate. Larger plans offer significantly better economics:
